Numeric is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, operated by Zephony Software Pvt Ltd ("Zephony," "we," "us," or "our"). This Return and Refund Policy outlines our policies regarding payments, cancellations, and refunds.

Payments for Numeric are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (for customers outside the US) or Paddle.com Inc (for US customers), who act as our Merchant of Record. This means that when you purchase a subscription, you are buying from Paddle, who then licenses the service to you.

By subscribing to or purchasing any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this policy.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

2.1 Initial Subscription

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your initial subscription purchase. If you are not satisfied with Numeric within 14 days of your first payment, you may request a full refund by contacting our support team or Paddle's buyer support.

To request a refund within the 14-day period:

2.2 Subscription Renewals

Automatic subscription renewals are non-refundable. The 14-day money-back guarantee applies only to your initial subscription purchase, not to subsequent renewal charges.

This means if your subscription renews (monthly or annually), that renewal payment is final. To avoid being charged for a renewal, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

2.3 What Is Not Covered

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription renewal payments (monthly or annual)
  • Unused time after the 14-day guarantee period
  • Pro-rated amounts for partial billing periods
  • Upgrade charges after your initial 14-day period

  • No payment information is required to get started
  • You can use the free tier indefinitely
  • You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time to access additional features and higher limits

3.2 Free Tier Limitations

The free tier is subject to usage limits on features such as the number of scenarios, plans, and other resources. These limits may be updated from time to time. To unlock higher limits and premium features, you can upgrade to a paid subscription plan.

4. Subscription Management

4.1 Billing Cycle

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) according to your chosen plan. All fees are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. Upon renewal, you will be charged the then-current subscription fee.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
  • If within 14 days of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund
  • After the 14-day period, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of your current billing period
  • Your account and data may be deleted after the subscription ends, subject to our data retention policy

5. Payment Issues

5.1 Failed Payments

If a payment fails due to insufficient funds, expired card, or any other reason:

  • We will attempt to process the payment again
  • Your access to the service may be suspended until payment is successful
  • You are still responsible for payment of all outstanding fees
  • We do not offer refunds for periods during which your account was suspended due to payment failure

5.2 Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charges, incorrect amount), please contact us immediately at billing@numeric.one. We will investigate the issue and make appropriate corrections to your account if an error is confirmed.

6. Service Outages

6.1 Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance and updates do not qualify for refunds or service credits. We will notify users in advance of planned maintenance whenever possible.

6.2 Unplanned Downtime

While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, unforeseen technical issues may occur. Brief service disruptions do not entitle users to refunds or credits. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

7. Chargebacks

7.1 Contact Us First

Before filing a chargeback with your payment provider, please contact us directly at billing@numeric.one. We are committed to resolving any billing issues fairly and promptly.

7.2 Chargeback Consequences

If you file a chargeback without first contacting us:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
  • If the chargeback is found to be unjustified, your account will be permanently terminated
  • You may be held liable for the chargeback amount plus any chargeback fees
  • We reserve the right to pursue collection for any amounts owed
  • You will be prohibited from creating new accounts in the future

8. Plan Changes

8.1 Upgrades

When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan:

  • The upgrade takes effect immediately
  • You will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle
  • Your next full billing will be at the new plan rate

8.2 Downgrades

When you downgrade to a lower-tier plan:

  • The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle
  • You retain access to your current plan features until then
  • No refund or credit is issued for the difference in plan pricing

9. Account Termination

9.1 Termination by User

If you voluntarily terminate your account, you will retain access through the end of your paid period, but no refund will be provided for any remaining time.

9.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service. In such cases:

  • Your access will be immediately revoked
  • No refund will be provided for any remaining subscription time
  • You remain liable for any outstanding fees

10. Enterprise and Custom Plans

Enterprise and custom plan agreements may have different payment and refund terms as specified in the individual contract. The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to standard subscriptions. For enterprise agreements, please refer to your specific contract or contact your account manager.

11. Legal Compliance

This refund policy complies with consumer protection laws, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, which require a 14-day cancellation period for online purchases. Our 14-day money-back guarantee on initial subscriptions satisfies these requirements.

In jurisdictions where additional consumer protections apply, the provisions most favorable to the consumer will take precedence.
